Update Day 19 after Bob's Fall

Happy New Year! Things are going so well. We are making new memories, trying to spoil daddy as much as he will let us, getting annoyed with each other at times again and seeing and hearing from dear dear people in our life's journey. We are blessed and get to see God's touch all over the place. Yesterday was a big day. We had an outing, a trial run leaving the hospital. The girls and I took Daddy to the Mall. We got him in and out of the car (and his chair and walker), took turns pushing him through people and stores, had coffee and finished the three hours at PFChangs. It was the longest he has been upright since the fall - so it was more than challenging, plus uncomfortable and painful but good for healing and the soul. We are ready for him to come home to finish his recovery. Oh and so far I have no cold, the girls are well and my parents have AAA🙂. Prayer requests: before he goes home he has another set of X-rays and our new orthopod will look at his wrist and remove the stitches and decide on a cast - his wrist still aches. Also for all this paperwork and details from the fall and around moving home - I guess that's another prayer request for me - ha. Blessings to all of you in the new year!!
