Three Words 2016
Three Words for 2016.
Thank you, Chris Brogan, for the challenge of choosing three words to ‘live by’ in 2016. I chose the words Brave, Share and Weave.
Brave: God has called us to be strong and courageous (Joshua 1:9). Because I know the Lord is with us wherever we go, He has placed in my path many things to do and many people to impact. I desire to walk forward bravely and do all these things with confidence.
Share: Sharing what I have learned is an honor. Keeping it to myself is not. I desire to use my first word, Brave, and believe God has called me to share what He has taught me. This may be through experiences in ministry, parenting or ideas and passions coupled with creative ways to make these come to life in our families. This year I will practice sharing so I can get better at it! And perhaps test the theory: practice makes perfect.
Weave: I picture the big events or seasons in my life like the red arrow/circle on the map app in my phone. YOU ARE HERE and you are going HERE. Each point in life has at least one line leading to it and one leading from it. Most points are strewn with connectors. As I currently stand at a new point, I want to begin a practice of being intentional with those connections. I can't wait to see the beautiful tapestry God weaves in my life.
